I can’t believe I have been blogging about energy healing for eight years! Thought it was time I updated my Reading List. Key themes include energy healing, astrology and intuition. These tools were so useful in my student days, wonderful for any level of experience 💖💖💖
Happy reading!!
1) Chakra Healing & Magick: Sneaking this one to the top of the list as it includes the healing tools that I use to keep myself afloat and happy. Written by yours truly, the themes include chakras, psychic abilities and crystal empowerment. We look at Tarot and how the elements of Fire, Air, Earth & Water heal blocks through the Aura.

2) Astrology for the Soul: Written by Jan Spiller, this book converted me from skeptic to complete astrology geek. It looks at the Moon's Nodes and how they illustrate behavioral patterns that trip us up and bring unhappiness to our lives. Jan goes through detailed 'reverse psychology' for each Zodiac sign and tells us where our assumptions go wrong and how to fix it.
4) The Seven Lies of the Human Race by Maria Veiga. The author takes us through the psychological development stages and how they relate to the seven chakras. Based on our reactions to life, we develop a set of 'lies that we tell ourselves' to be able to cope with hardship and fear. Maria brings us back to a place of honesty by using energy healing and her life as an example. I loved it so much that I asked her to contribute an excerpt to Chakra Healing & Magick.
5) Ask Your Guides, by Sonia Choquette. This blog wouldn't exist if I hadn't stumbled across Sonia's lovely book ten years ago. It guides us through simple techniques to connect with archangels and spirit guides, as well as explaining the difference between teacher guides, joy guides, lost-object finders and the guidance of your Higher Self. I have read dozens of spiritual books since and it is still a favorite. To be honest though, I was initially scared of spirit guides so I waited 2 months before buying and reading it. So glad I did =)
All of the books on this list are worth it. Read the one you are most drawn to now and come back for the others when the time is right. Thank you for reading Diary of a Psychic Healer!
Reiki hugs,
Regina
3) A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle. If I am transparent, I didn't get through more than a few chapters of The Power of Now, his more famous book. The concepts from The Power of Now are summarized in the first chapter of this one (and incredibly useful); the rest of A New Earth is just gorgeous. If I had to choose, I would pin my worldview on this book. It also gives us a mystical or metaphorical interpretation of Christianity that clicked for me. I love love love this book.
