Angels in the Outfield

The last thing I planned on doing today was to come home and write on my blog. I've had the busiest few weeks and I really need to get to sleep early. Plus there's a lot to do at work tomorrow! But sometimes I can't resist the urge to write about what happened to me, most of all so that I won't forget these experiences. Things are fresh in our minds for just a few days and then they turn into memories, the details get fuzzy or we forget about them altogether. So it's 10:20, I will give myself until 10:30 and then I will publish the post without reading it. Apologies in advance for any typos or incomprehensible streams of consciousness. =)

Today I finally made it to my angel meditation class. It started two weeks about but I was home for the holidays the first week, then travelling the second week and by the time the third week rolled around I was doubting whether or not I'd actually make it to class. Today I ran from work at 5.20 pm, there's a shuttle bus that I have to catch to get to the train station that brings me to London. And from there I will usually tube it (London speak for take the underground). If all goes well, I am fifteen minutes early and that gives me just enough time to get a sandwich and make it to class. The school's front doors shut at 7 pm when the receptionist leaves, so if you're 5 minutes late you might be locked out and no class for you! So today the shuttle bus was late to the train station, I missed 2 trains to London and I got to Paddington about 15 minutes before the class was meant to start. Thank God the Circle Line was one time and I made it to my destination just as the receptionists were locking up! Phew!

The angel meditation class was on a floor that I'd never been on, which is always interesting because everyroom at the College has a different feel to it. A lot of people complain that its haunted, and it probably is but I'm lucky enough not to notice those things. The classroom felt really light and airy when I walked in, it was a welcome change from the room where we had the Spirit Guides class. I felt instantly cheerful, and excited to meet my new classmates. There are only six of us in the class and one of the women was missing today. I'm not going to describe the people in my class except to say that there's a French guy with a very strong angelic presence, as soon as I walked into the room I could sense it on his aura. He and another woman are also doing the two year healing course, although we're not taking it at the same school (but strangely enough, it's the same curriculum and most of the teachers are invovled in both of our programs.). It was pretty interesting because straight off I felt a connection to the group, and it was touching to know that at least 1/2 of the class is going through very similar experiences at the moment.

The past couple weeks I've been wondering whether or not I want to stay in London. I really love it here but my family is pretty far away, and its a struggle sometimes to be on the other side of the world. But then there are times like today when I had a great day at work and I realized how much I like the people I work with and the company's atmposphere. And then I made it to class just in the nick of time and it turns out that I'm now part of a really cool group that gets to talk to angels, and learn to heal people, the planet, animals, etc. It's a pretty cool existence and I'm lucky to have it. Next time I'll tell you about what it's like to talk to Archangel Gabriel, he's actually a she. And she's the angel of communication so it makes the psychic readings a lot easier. It was the 2nd time so far that I've been able to get through an entire reading/meditation by asking questions and actually hearing the answers in the form of a voice. With my lovely Spirit Guides I got music, cartoons, clips from movies, shapes, mountains, landscapes and the occasional dragon. Spirit Guides are fun because they're theatrical and the experience feels like a trip through the rabbit hole. But Angels come to you, and you can stay grounded in your plain old sitting room and just listen to them speak. At least Gabriel, will tell you about the other ones as the weeks go by.
